Une grippe s’accompagne normalement des signes et symptômes suivants :
• début brutal, myalgies, céphalées, état fébrile
• mal de gorge modéré
• toux modérée, non productive, n’empêchant pas le patient
de dormir
• écoulement nasal bilatéral non purulent, avec éternuements,
sans céphalées localisées
• impossibilité d'avaler la salive
• dyspnée
• auscultation pulmonaire pathologique
• état confusionnel
• mauvais état général
• fièvre de plus de 38,5°C
• exsudats amygdaliens bilatéraux
• adénopathies bilatérales douloureuses
• absence de toux et de rhume
• écoulement nasal ou postérieur purulent
• céphalées localisées, frontales, maxillaires ou ethmoïdales
• inefficacité des décongestionnants nasaux
